Cloudy Mountain Cheese Shop

We are very proud of our small but perfectly formed outlet shop which is located on our property. Visitors are welcome to try the variety of cheeses on display and eftpos is available.

It's always worth popping in regularly as we have an ever changing variety of hancrafted cheeses for you to try. If you are wanting a specific cheese, just give us a call first and we can let you know if it is currently available.

Pirongia has a bakery, 2 great cafes, a pub, antiques shop, art and craft gallery and public facilities. There are historic walks and the clydesdale horses, and of course there is the mountain with its many walks; so it's worth a stop when travelling or for a bit of a day out.

Cloudy Mountain Cheese is located at 1481 McClure St, State Highway 39, roughly 1.5 km from the Pirongia Pub (heading south).

Shop Hours

10am to 5pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The cheese shop can be opened by appointment on alternative days - just call us to arrange.
